About CRSPCC
The Community Rehabilitation Service Providers Council of Calgary
was founded in 1998 as a forum for service providers in the Calgary
region.
Vision
A council that influences policy, decision making and quality
service.
Mission
Providing leadership and support to member agencies through
communication, information sharing and a strong united voice.
Purpose
To coordinate, collaborate and act as a resource consultant in
the planning of services for people with disabilities.
Goals
- To identify and address current and future needs and issues
related to planning services for people with disabilities
- To promote and support changes and improvements within the
delivery system.
- To promote coordination and collaboration amongst
organizations and groups providing related services.
- To provide and seek representation on appropriate planning
bodies for the purpose of providing input to planning processes.
Objectives
- To promote the development of a continuum of services
for people with disabilities.
- To obtain and share information relating to the service
delivery system for the purpose of effective, collaborative
planning.
- To develop plans and strategies to effect change.
- To foster educational and research efforts in the field
of community services for people with disabilities.
- To provide leadership in developing interorganizational
and community linkages.

Meetings
Executive meetings are held monthly and are open to the
membership. General meetings held twice or more per year and an
annual meeting is held in June.
